Michael Miller, Arizona Man, Sang Eminem While Stabbing Family: Police

A disturbing story out of Arizona: a 29-year-old man has told police that he sang Eminem songs while fatally stabbing his wife and daughter, KSAZ-TV reports. His 4-year-old son survived the attack, despite being stabbed 11 times. According to police, the man, Michael Miller, said he was possessed and believed that his wife was a demon.

More chilling details:

Just before stabbing her at 4 a.m., he told police he started screaming lyrics from an Eminem song, saying, "Here comes Satan, I'm the anti-Christ, I'm going to kill you."

Miller admitted to police that when the kids awoke to their mother's screams, he stabbed them too. He said he stabbed his son Brian the most because he loved him the most.

Then he rolled a cigarette, said another prayer, and called 911, police say.

Now that Eminem is back in the spotlight with a new album, all the more reason for him to be scapegoated for a single brutal domestic crime. This distracts from the real mental illness that caused this man to snap and commit murder (not to mention free, albeit negative, publicity for Eminem, but he's probably used to that and he's been a scapegoat before.)

BTW, I roll my own too ... I smoke a lot less than I used to ... purchase a pouch of tobacco for about $12, a little package of filters and papers and I'm set for a week for about $15 compared to paying about $50 for a carton of regular packaged cigarettes.

This is really one of the most disturbing cases I've heard of because the guy sounds lucid, reasonable, and like he just can't be bothered to even care what he's done.

I agree totally with you. When Eminem's music comes on the radio, just change the station. It will do you good. There's really no need for anyone to listen to this guy's stuff, just try and remain calm and change the station. It's just that easy. If everyone does it he will go away back to the tabloid pages where he belongs. Then you can just ignore the tabloids.

This is entirely Christian media's fault. They've been spreading these stories about possessions and underground satanic cults for nearly thirty years now. They also continue to insist that everyone in the entertainment industry is a Satanist, and that all movies and songs are loaded with Satanic messages and designed to possess the people who listen to them.

Of course, their audience cannot completely wall themselves off from the secular entertainment industry 24/7. So they walk around thinking that everyone who listens to secular music or every establishment that plays secular music is an unwitting pawn of the devil who is trying to possess them.

That's the connection everyone is missing, by the way. Christian media says that rappers are spreading Satanic messages. This guy associated Eminem with Satan, so the music terrifies him, gets stuck in his brain, sends him into a self-induced trance, which he tells himself is a state of possession, and according to his mythology, when you're possessed you kill your family. Voila.

Every time a Christian says he's "possessed" and murders people, he's just ritually acting out the beliefs he's been programmed with, and reinforcing the belief of the faithful. And the Christian media WILL play this as an actual possession case, just like the others. It's like Candyman.
