Perez Hilton: Will.i.am Assaulted Me, Call The Police

UPDATE 2: Perez and Will.i.am have both spoken out. Will denied it was him, while Hilton has a 12-minute video blasting the Black Eyed Pea as a "disgusting human being" and "a fucking liar."

He says the fight stemmed from his harsh posting about Fergie.

UPDATE: TMZ reports will.i.am is not the suspect:

But cops in Toronto tell us it was the general manager of the Black Eyed Peas -- Polo Molina -- who is under investigation and he turned himself in to police early this morning.

PREVIOUSLY:
Beginning just after midnight West Coast time, Perez Hilton tweeted a series of messages alleging that Will.I.Am and his security guards had assaulted him.

Hilton was in Toronto Sunday for the Much Music Awards:

-- I'm in shock. I need the police ASAP. Please come to the SoHo Metropolitan Hotel now. Please.

-- I was assaulted by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke.

-- Still waiting for the police. The bleeding has stopped. I need to document this. Please, can the police come to the SoHo Met Hotel.

-- I spoke to my lawyer. I really need to talk to the authorities. Please come to the SoHo Met Hotel. Have called the police. Need them here.

-- The Toronto police are here now. Thank you. Please stop calling them.

The last message he posted on Twitter before this series of tweets came about two hours earlier: "Is there a gay bar that we can go to with GaGa now that like has a balcony or some place to have fun but be safe?"

It goes without saying that Hilton's claims have not been verified.

I'm so happy Perez Hilton finally got what he deserved. If you make a career out of being a mean-spiri­ted gossiper, I believe the person being gossiped about should be able to beat the crap out of the gossiper, especially if they go to the same party! If someone in your circle of friends started spewing lies and hate about your significan­t other/best friend, I'm sure whoever reads this would agree that sometimes discussion can only go so far. If a person refuses to stop lying and gossiping after being asked directly, a little action should be acceptable­. A little over a hundred years ago people used to fight in duels to the death when one of the two attacked the other's reputation­. I feel a little rough-hous­ing was necessary for Perez Hilton to show that words can hurt just as much as physical pain. People should take ownership for the words they spew and not hide behind their computer screens.

Perez Hilton- I don't understand why you think it's ok to talk crap about someone and then turn around and cry because you get hit for it. I understand that everyone has their own opinion about something and can express that...but don't be suprised when someone gets you back for it...it's just the way it is..and you shouldn't have cried--now everyone is going to see you as the "Leave Brittany Alone" character!­!!

Will.I.Am needs to sue Perez Hilton for defamation­! He blatantly accused Will of attacking him yesterday. And because Perez's Twitter has over 1 million followers, that's 1 million separate instances of publicatio­n. Since we have learned today that the only person under investigat­ion for the alleged assault is Will's manager, and NOT Will himself, I would expect a lawsuit to be filed against Hilton in fairly short order.

If true, Perez should have to face consequenc­es for abusing/mi­susing the system and contributi­ng to the inefficien­cy of the Emergency Service Dept. during the time period in which the calls were coming in.
