Stephen Baldwin QUITS "I'm A Celebrity"

NEW YORK — Another celebrity has bailed out of the Costa Rican jungle set of "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!"

Stephen Baldwin says he exited the NBC show over the weekend because he received more than 125 insect bites in eight days.

In a statement, he says the bites were so bad he had an extreme allergic reaction that caused him to lose sleep and 22 pounds.

The actor says he will continue to work on behalf of his chosen charity LOVE 146, which fights child sex slavery and exploitation.

"I'm a Celebrity" ends on Wednesday.

Alec once said about Stephen that he loves him *because he's his brother*. Which is kind of a backhanded thing to say when you think about it. It's like saying he wouldn't appreciate him or talk to him if he weren't his brother.

I assumed when S. Baldwin went to Costa Rica for this show, he was finally making good on his promise to leave the U.S. after President Obama was sworn in. He can leave Costa Rica if he wants, but he should stay true to his word and not come back within our borders.

You're overlooking the obvious explanation: The medical personnel on site gave him that number. Still, it's a commendable feat for someone of his stature to memorize a three-digit number. IF in fact he didn't just produce a random number, maybe remembering the sly technique employed by Keyser Söze.

What little I've seen of the show (VERY little) I can't say anyone looked like they wer having much fun. At least with 'Survivor' the 'little people' participants consider themselves on an 'adventure' that they'd be able to tell their grandchildren about.
