WASHINGTON -- Documents gathered by lawyers for the families of Sept. 11 victims provide new evidence of extensive financial support for Al Qaeda and other extremist groups by members of the Saudi royal family, but the material may never find its way into court because of legal and diplomatic obstacles.

Our government is far more interested in protecting the elitists than in
making sure the engine of our economy is running on all it's cylinders.

It is the middle class that provides the impetus of all that has brought US forward.
It is the greed of the elite that has sought to steal the wealth that we have created.

The Saudis number is a mere pitance compared the magnitude of devout zealous uneducated masses of Muslims who are being conditioned to believe Wahabism and Martyrdom is the direction of their future by Mullah's world wide.

Did you read the story of Colonel George Custer in American history ? yeah well that aint nothing compared to what would happen if those same mass mulsims decided to take back Saudi Arabia by force. The Royal family ensures the dark powers and underground movements are paid in full to keep their house intact.

The trajedy is that if our administration ignores the evidence and takes no action to cut off those financial links, the entire 9/11 war on terror is a complete and utter lie and we should demand to pull out of Afghanistan and announce to the world we're liars and only here for the money and care nothing of our people or our honor or national security.

The Muslim and rest of the world already know it and shake their heads in shame at Americans who just graze and drool while Iranians are dying in the street to ensure their vote is counted.

It's time we stop lying to ourselves and in our class rooms and start being honest with ourselves. If we really gave a damn, we'd do something about this travesty.

This post is over, please return to your seats and continue watching cable reality shows.

The Saudis are connected to all the turmoil in the Middle East. They have been complicit in the suppression of the Arab people and did everything they can to prevent socialist, democratic, nationalist movements for fear they might lose their religious hold on the area.

If you think the Iranians have been brutal in suppresing it's people,

consider that there's no one brave enough to try demonstrating in Saudi Arabia.

Any historian who studies the heretical cult of Wahhabism knows that the leading proponent of this violent, deliberate distortion of the Holy Quran is *Saudi Arabia.* The House of Saud has used their oil wealth for decades to promote Wahhabism and try and spread this violent heresy to the broader Muslim world.

Wahhabism has roots in both the Middle East and Afghanistan going back centuries. Its proponents have risen up repeatedly from time to time to engage in violent, authoritarian aggression and repression of anyone they can overthrow with the sword and the gun, claiming the Holy Quran justifies their bloody deeds, when in fact it specifically does not.

Wahhabists are no different from any destructive cult that claims God's sanction for violent criminal behavior.

Anyone who wishes to educate themselves on the violent cult of Wahhabism needs to acquire a copy of Charles Allen's GOD'S TERRORISTS, THE WAHHABI CULT AND THE HIDDEN ROOTS OF MODERN JIHAD.

The Wahhabists are the enemies of everything good and decent in human civilization, be it Christian, Muslim, Jewish, or anything else that human beings have accomplished in the entirety of our collective history.

This is not new news. Our government has and will continue to ignore this because of our need for oil. The only way is to become energy independent. Now how do we get there?

They are all about money, absolutely greedy. We have learned lately that absolute greed corrupts absolutely. This is just another indication of that fact.

No, they're all about *POWER*. Money is just a means. Furthermore, we haven't had another al Qaeda attack not because Bush invaded Iraq, but because the Saudis were warned they'd be hit directly. That's why they buying up all kinds of Chinese weaponry and signing defense agreements. They want protection for the next time they sent al Qaeda our way.

Looking at the cost of 9/11 and Iraq, spending 1-3 trillion dollars to get off foreign oil would be a bargain.

The Royal Family is estimated to be over 5000 (that's counting only the men)....within any group that large there are bound to be some that "go off the reservation"(or wander away from the encampment?).

Perhaps i did not make myself clear. The Royal Family with thousands of members is bound to have some "Wahhabi-leaning" folks. Your post leaves the impression that most if not all Saudis follow the Wahhabi philosophy which is not the case.

I remember that just after the 9/11 attack Saudi family members in this country were quickly and quietly flown out by the Bush administration for their safety.

Until Americans can stop driving 90mph in F-350's while towing a boat, we'll always be on the tit of countries like Saudi Arabia, Venezuala, Iran, Iraq and host of other non-friendly countries. We need to get our oil consumption down to at least to what the US produces.

It really doesn't make much sense for the Saudi government to destroy America unless.....I'm really not into conspiracy theories.

a CHECK for 267 million---

right---and he walked right over to his local taliban bank in the mountains to make the deposit.

Where can we get the names of the passengers that were in the chartered planes full of Saudis and bin-Ladens allowed to leave the USA some days after 9/11/2001?
