Sorry to say, that picture is a Diamond Back terrapin, native to the US East Coast and the Mascot of the Maryland Terps. But, still a great story.!!!!!!!!!!!

That's wonderful that the Thai Navy has taken the initiative to protect these eggs.

I hope that the U.S. government can learn from this example.
