Democrats don't deserve to be re-elected in Illinois. No politician should serve more than eight years in office. It's time to let the entire state government collapse to force a voter rebellion.

I think it is time for Independents to stand up and try to run for offices in Illinois. I said this before that ra ci st Republicans should not be in power. However, I think we should try to look at some independent candidates.

As much as I will condemn the most corrupt state run almost all by Dems,,, Meeks is not one of them... From Durbin and Burris , through Schankowsky and Stroger an Daley , judges, city council, Jessie jr Cook County....­..but Rebublicans Jim Thompson and George Ryan also fit right in

Let's start with the Daley family - Junior has been mayor for 20 years - and his father, Richard Sr., was mayor for 21 years. It's not right that one family should have control of a city for over 40 years!!!

I have my disagreements with Rev Meeks, but he is spot on and I agree totally. If the system falls apart they should be aware that NONE of the greedy incompetent family names or friends will EVER have a seat in this city if people have to go door to door in the heat, snow, rain, or hail. WE don't want their handouts. We want people who want to change this city for the better to have a job to be able to pay their fair share and have a chance at city jobs before friends and family members are given priority. ALL children should receive an equal education despite their parents poverty. A safe descent place to live clean water, food, and adequate medical care.

This guy is spot-on. Term limits for all elected officials must be a part of the Change We Can Believe In.

Corruption is government by officials who believe they are above the law, and are subject to privilege must end.

We must take a lesson from the Iranian youth who are protesting by the hundreds of thousands against government fraud and oppression.
