MTA Sells Naming Rights: Barclays Station In Brooklyn

Over the last five years, the MTA has been trying eagerly to sell the rights to the names of subway stations. On Monday, they finally succeeded. After the $4 million deal is approved on Wednesday, the group of subway stations at Atlantic Avenue, Pacific Street and Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn will be given the name Barclays, as in Barclays Bank, based in London.
