Anderson Cooper Remembers Going To Studio 54 When He Was 10 With Michael Jackson (VIDEO)

As part of CNN's coverage of Michael Jackson's death, Anderson Cooper told a story about going to Studio 54 when he was 10 with Jackson and other friends.

"When I was 10, for some odd reason, I went to Studio 54 with Michael Jackson and a bunch of people and I had no idea who he was and I saw him dance and I was like, Oh, that guy is a really good dancer."

Later, he tantalizingly added: "Why I was at Studio 54 is a whole other story... Child welfare authorities probably want to talk to my mom."

Not being convicted does not mean a person is in truth actually innocent of the crime. Look at OJ. The reverse is true too. Plenty of innocent peope have been convicted as became especially clear when we developed the capacity to do DNA tests.

Just switched to CNN momentarily when I saw Coop go ahead with a piece of footage and a still shot of Michael Jackson. In a somber voice he stated, "we just showed you a clip of MJ being wheeled to a hospital, and now we have a photo of what was the last picture of him"--laying on the gurney with an oxygen mask on--crude!! He had already passed away. I don't know why I expected anything else from him.

Then, just saw it on Showbiz Tonight!

I saw the same clip and I was throughly disgusted. The press is just horrible and I'm sure there is more to come. This is an easy story for them, they just have to use the internet and copy from TMZ, etc.

...it's because his mother is Gloria Vanderbilt...the only reason...he is a rich, pretty face, and the media are infatuated with that...he really is a lousy anchor and his field reporting is at times laughable and other times insufferably righteous. I loved it when Kathy Griffin teased him ruthlessly on New Year's Eve, constantly making jibes about him and trying to hook him up with that other major closet queen, Ryan Seacrest...why would Cooper tell such a ridiculously stupid story about Michael Jackson?
