While President Obama talked healthcare with ABC tonight, the rest of the Obama family skipped out to see the Beyonce show in Washington, D.C.

A Beyonce concert for a ten year old? Hmm...
So glad they can afford such a lavish lifestyle. Wish there weren't so many hungry children in America.
Why not get a head start and go feed them yourself!

I was at this show last night as well and it was AMAZING!! That darn Beyonce can perform at a high caliber for 2 1/2 hours. She was great.
The woman's act is nothing more than a high class, over-priced stripper's act, complete with breast implants and a nose job.
Put a pole on the stage and the woman could twirl and shake her booty with the best of them.
Not exactly an appropriate stage show for young impressionable girls.
She's not a good role model.
But, if Mrs. Obama approves of a sex show for her girls, then that's her right.
Lighten up.

Beyonce and the Obamas became friends during the campaign. Obviously MO thinks highly of her otherwise she would not expose her girls to Beyonce.
That's good enough for me.
Friends is a bit of a stretch. She performed at one of their inaugural balls. Barack is a bit of a starf*cker, so I'm sure they met a few other times. But thats about it.
The girls are not tweens. Sasha just turned 8 and Malia is 10. Beyonce is one of the best entertainers ever. She gives you a show from beginning to end.
the term is restricted to those close to reaching age 13, especially ages 10-12. Malia is definately a tween.

I took my daughter (6) to the concert last evening and it was a great and tasteful show. I bought her a T-shirt and SHE chose not to wear it to her summer program today. She said that the shirt was appropriate, but the way Beyonce' was dressed on the picture wasn't. People, conduct yourselves in a manner that your children will want to emulate YOU instead of throwing stones at people you don't think measure up as YOUR CHILDREN(S)'s role model!!!! Sheesh!
I was at that concert! It was amazing! and totally empowering with songs about not needing a man to pay your own bills, loving yourself, finding true love with a man that respects you, rocking what you do and loving yourself, plus yes, embracing your sexuality
There were lots of younger girls there, many in the 10-15 year old range excited for their first concert.
Plus we all went wild when they showed an Obama montage and announced Michelle was there with us.
So that whole "dad" thing was not mentioned or encouraged?
antifluff, I'd hope that as a father you're encouraging your daughter(s) to be self-reliant, love whatever it is that they do, give back to their community and most of all, LOVE THEMSELVES. One more think, at however old Beyonce Knowles is she at least is not a TEEN BABY MAMA like Sarah Palin's daughter, nor DID SHE RUNAWAY TO GET MARRIED BECAUSE SHE WAS PREGNANT again like, SARAH PALIN.
Two years married and no scandals like the rest of hollywood trashy young people. As a mother of an AfricanAmerican daughter, I'm proud that she is able to see a young woman working for causes that affect ALL AMERICANS, that my daughter can see a young woman using her talents to empower herself is important in the 21st c.
Did you see the video of First Lady Michelle, doing the hula dance. Watch were Obama looks.
At the butt, because you know Michelle is shaking it for him. That's the difference by Gov. Sanford's wife and Obama's wife. Michelle isn't scared to shake it.
I am POSITIVE Beyonce knew the First Family was in the audience and probably tamed things down, if there is such a need. I doubt very conservative people would take their kids to see her. That is their right. But it is not their place to judge others either.
