Palin Attacks Blogger For "Malicious Desecration" Of Trig Photo

Sarah Palin has teed off against another mocking observer -- this time a local blogger who edited a photo of the governor and her youngest child to include a local conservative talk show host.

In a statement sent to Politico, Palin's spokesperson said:

Recently we learned of a malicious desecration of a photo of the Governor and baby Trig that has become an iconic representation of a mother's love for a special needs child.

The mere idea of someone doctoring the photo of a special needs baby is appalling. To learn that two Alaskans did it is absolutely sickening. Linda Kellen Biegel, the official Democrat Party blogger for Alaska, should be ashamed of herself and the Democratic National Committee should be ashamed for promoting this website and encouraging this atrocious behavior.

Babies and children are off limits. It is past time to restore decency in politics and real tolerance for all Americans. The Obama Administration sets the moral compass for its party. We ask that special needs children be loved, respected and accepted and that this type of degeneracy be condemned.

The blogger, Linda Kellen Biegel of "Blue Oasis," responded:

To those folks at a certain Palinbot site who think the picture above is of Trig, let me use a phrase many of you are familiar with...

YOU FAIL AT LIFE!!!!!!

It's called "Baby Burke" because it's Eddie Burke...basically his probable second-biggest fantasy about the Governor.

The photo was used to promote a fundraiser to request Palin administration records of "potentially questionable conversations between with "preferred" members of the media."

just like she didn't have a problem with all the other comedians telling the same joke letterman did. Just another media hound. She spends so much time saving the "children" how does she have time to be governor.

Use of the term "dese.cration" implies that whatever was des.poiled was, in fact, "sacred." The term is used appropriately when rel.igious icons or other artifacts are van.dalized.

The image of little Bris.ket, or whatever the kid's name is, is not a sacred object (at least to the rest of us, I don't care whether or not Sarah Palin believes that she is a diety - yet), and therefore it cannot be "dese.crated."

How long is it going to take us before we understand that Sarah Palin is nothing more than a simple "entertainer", along the lines of all the folks on FAUX and CNBC and most Republicans and too many members of our Congress? None of them has anything worthwhile to say. So why do we waste our time paying any attention to them! We Americans are too good for these idiots, yet we waste our time on them! Come on America! The moral compass Palin said Obama set was for the benefit of Palin's pregnant teenager daughter, when the media attack her. Obama did not set this moral compass for one party to follow, he was telling the media it was wrong to attack someone children, when he was asked to comment on the attacks on Palin's daughter.

In my mother's wise words "knock it off" -- stop with the Sarah Palin hate fest already. This isn't why I went to college to continually ridicule people whose politics and religion I may disagree. Ridicule is a childish impulse and should be overcome with education and self regulating tolerance. In today’s “don’t judge” society, please note that ridicule is just another word for judgment disguised as humor.
