Rahm Emanuel: Sanford "Could Have Used A Cigarette"

Perhaps no one knows how to butter up reporters better than White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel.

The longtime Washington insider is known for personally reaching out to reporters and always being cognizant of the media landscape.

At Thursday's Christian Science Monitor breakfast for reporters, Emanuel was the featured speaker and did his part to yuk it up with the Fourth Estate.

My only problem with Rahm is that he is so opposed to Howard Dean being an advisor to the Presidnet. By the way, do we not need a Sec of Commerce any more? Has that post been eliminated?

Dean should have been HHS instead of Sebelius, who assured Inskeep on NPR that the public option would be written in a way that single-payer will never happen in America. Rahm doesn't like him so there was never a chance.
