Farrah Fawcett

people.com:

"Farrah had courage, she had strength, and she had faith. And now she has peace as she rests with the real angels," said Jaclyn Smith after the death of her friend and Charlie's Angels costar Farrah Fawcett.

Cheryl Ladd, who replaced Fawcett on the wildly popular '70s show, says: "I'm terribly sad about Farrah's passing. She was incredibly brave, and God will be welcoming her with open arms."

My fav angel was and is Jaclyn Smith, but Farrah was definitely classy and beautiful and with many of you I express my condolences to those she leaves behind.

With Ed McMahon, Farah, and now Michael passing, it's a real notable moment in Americana as we begin in earnest to say goodbye to the 1970s...

She was one of those people, even as a celebrity, that you never heard a bad word about. That's a pretty good legacy.

RIP Farrah Fawcett. I can't believe Michael Jacksons death is overshadowing hers. RIP MJ too.

Farrah was very brave, and her sharing her struggle to survive made her braver still. Hopefully she is at peace now, and her family and friends have our condolences and prayers..

now, lets get back to the real news, not the celebrity news of who died and how. i don't come here to read people magazine (although i'd rather read about her, or david carradine than jacko the child molesting whacko)

a very couragous battle she fought, bless her for her strength and verocity against it. To those who have fought this disease and are still fightiing, please continue to do so, and be assured that we will do our part to fund research to fight and cure cancer!! Bless you, Farrah.

Here's another one. May every single person who died of cancer today, and fought just as "valiantly" in obscurity, rest in peace. Their loved ones grieve just as deeply. 'Now she belongs to the ages'--sheesh! That was LINCOLN for crying out loud!

I'm just sorry I didn't really know much about Farrah Fawcett, I hope she was as classy as many of you say she was. A terrible loss for her fans, I'm sure was the American Star many of you say she was.

RIP Farrah, you had a smile that would light up any room.

She was a tremendous actress and had a heart of gold. Being a life long Oregonian I remember in the mid 80's when Diane Downs shot her 3 kids in Eugene and the trial that ensued. When Farah Fawcett was approached to play Diane Downs in the movie "Small Sacrifices" she made it very clear that unless it was written into her contract that Diane Downs got NO MONEY from the proceeds of the movie, she would not do the movie. Bravo!!!

Sadly, she was in so much pain from the cancer, that her death was almost a blessing.

RIP Farrah you will be sorely missed.

Yeah, she was good in that too! Very creepy and narscisitically sociopathic....you know her movies were very good. Burning bed as well as Extremeties....very dark, intense.

I just watched "Extremeties" again a few months ago. I hadn't seen it in years, and I had forgotten just how good she was in that movie. "The Burning Bed" was also a very good movie, and her performance was incredible.

She was truly a class act.
