Bruno Strips For Conan (VIDEO)

Sacha Baron Cohen, as Bruno, sat down for an interview on "The Tonight Show" and ended up dropping his pants for a Conan O'Brien lap dance.

After Conan asks him if he will dance, Bruno started grinding to Lady Gaga's "Lets' Dance," hopped on the desk, dropped his pants and ripped of his shirt.

1) If Bruno is how gay people behave then chalk me up as "homophobic". Which is fine with me cause even most gay people are appalled by Bruno. I guess that makes them homophobic too.

2) And if Bruno is NOT how real gay people behave then people's reaction to Bruno isn't homophobia, it's idiophobia.

Those are your two choices, take your pick. Which means the entire premise of Bruno "outing" homophobia is an epic fail. So let's enjoy it for the silly fun it is and not pretend it has any kind of socially redeeming value.

Wow, I can only imagine what blogs or chat rooms would have looked like when Leno took over for Carson. Who was Leno at the time? Oh that's right, he was a sub-par stand up and did Doritos commercials. I remember how Leno was eviscerated by the media and a lot of Carson fans who felt there was no way that Leno could take over, not to mention all of the Letterman fans and Letterman himself who felt that he should have gotten the job instead of Leno.

I stayed up way past my bedtime to catch this. It was worth it. Can't wait for the movie.
And I'm glad I don't have to stay up all night to see Conan any more.

What is it with people? Obama has been the President for 5 months and some are already declaring his presidency a failure and that he's destroying the country. Conan has been on the Tonight Show for three weeks and some are declaring he's 'over' and should be dumped. Give the man a little time to settle in! Conan is not Jay, just as Jay was no Carson. I think Conan is great. No one is funny 100% of the time. He always delivers with some good schtick and funny comments, and his musical guests are at least slightly less predictable than Leno's were.

There are people who are negative and get their thrills from being able to say they called a failure first. When they turn out to be wrong- like they usually are, one never hears again about their false prediction. However, in the rare instances where they happen to guess right, we never hear the end of it.

Regarding Conan and Obama, I'd not worry much about these naysayers.

Sorry, I am not impressed with Conan or Bruno; I found Letterman and Johnny Depp more interesting and funny. Buno just was not funny in any sense of the word or definition of funny and Conan's response was not funny. Letterman did not get the best out of Depp, either; it appeared to me that Letterman interrupted a few times when I wanted more response from Depp. Perhaps more sleep for me would be more profitable. Conan is not Jay Leno!

Jeez, can we have one post about Conan without someone mentioning Jay? How long is this going to continue?

I mean all you ever heard when Jay was the host was, "Oh, he's so mediocre and predictable, he's no Carson, Letterman deserved The Tonight Show." Now, Conan's the host, and all you hear is "He's no Jay Leno." I didn't realize Jay Leno was destined for such sainthood, based on some of the posts I've read lately.

How about we just stop comparing people? Jay will be back in September.­.. try to relax until then.
