The word is mightier than the sword but not mightier than a nuclear missile with the finger of a narcissistic Napoleonic complex madman near the trigger.

NK does not have a nuclear tipped missile in it's inventory not yet. NK does possess nuclear technology but reportedly has yet to overcome the challenges of miniaturizing a warhead to affix to a missile. The remainder of your post is spot on.

What good is all this condemnation? Does NK give a damn about this? All the sanctions don't seem to be working.

It is unlikely that NK has the ability to deliver a NW or even possesses them in any degree at this moment. Perhaps, SK should evacuate as many of their people as possible, and the Nations of the world should unite and face down NK right now. Surround them with the missiles aimed at them, and make it clear that the world is prepared to inihilate the country. That is a sad and terrible thing, but the madness of NK seems to be limitless.

China and Russia must join in with the cooperation to enforce this, because they are more to blame for the creation of this immoral, corrupt, tyrannical country. Then, either they capitulate and surrender or they may change their mind after about a week of unrelentless pounding of their country with conventional weapons, with the understanding that the other weapons happen next.

Honestly, I think instead of risking the rest of the innocent N. Koreans, we should just take out Kim.

I guess it's like a parent telling a kid who just stole a car - I condemn you for doing that - and shaking their finger in their face.

Are they going to send off a letter to pyongyang immediately, or are they going to wait until after the weekend? Yeah, and angry cease and desist letter, that will teach him.
10:51 AM on 06/26/2009
I'm going to say the same thing that Kim probably said also; "so".....

If the mini-me sized leader found himself surrounded on all sides by forces from these countries and with missles aimed at him (no bluff) maybe he would back off but I'm afraid he is just crazy enough to try to prove to his people that he would never back down. But problem solved either way.

Problem solved? If he uses a nuke or sells one to a rogue organization for money to feed his loyal but hungry army, there will be NO retaliation. NK will have established its nuclear deterrent and we will HAVE to make concessions to them.

I hate and detest war and opposed Iraq. I do not hunger for war, but perhaps, it is time to enforce an ultimatum and take out NK before they do attain the ability to harm more people because the depth of their lunacy seems to be bottomless.
