Iran's Brutal Regime: "BEAT IT" (VIDEO)

This week's two biggest (and most disturbing) stories? The ongoing crackdown on protesters in Iran and the death of pop legend Michael Jackson. This video puts both together with a montage of photographs from the past few weeks of protests in Iran set to the music of MJ's "Beat It."

Iran has survived and overcome the bad influences of Savak and the Shah, Britain and the US, and I predict they shall overcome this fundamentalist regime too to take their place among great nations once again. Let's just stay out of their way.

This video montage coupled with "Beat It" severely flawed and insulting to all the brave Iranians who stood up and put their lives in jeopardy of violence and death. In the lyrics Michael Jackson instructs people that there is nothing worth risking one's life, do not stay and stand up, RUN ... BEAT IT! This is insulting, ignorant and exploitative all at the same time. Real Iranian's stayed, stood up for their rights, were physically beaten and some died. It does matter "who is wrong and who is right"! How insensitive!
