Boehner Calls Climate Bill "A Pile Of Shit"

The Huffington Post   First Posted: 7/29/09 Updated: 5/25/11

On Friday, House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) delayed a vote on the American Clean Energy and Security Act with a nearly hour-long speech. He knew the Republicans didn't have enough votes to defeat the bill. In an interview with The Hill he explained himself: "Hey, people deserve to know what's in this pile of shit."

Here's a taste of Boehner's Friday afternoon speech:

In the past, Boehner has suggested that carbon dioxide is not dangerous because cows fart a lot.

The below link pretty much summarizes the situation we are in as a people with a runaway government. Regardless of your political bent, it is worth the 6 minutes of your life to listen, then let's chat.

After the last eight disastrous years, the republicans have no credibility. Obama is doing the right thing and they hate every aspect of it. The republicans are responsible for the current recession. They offer nothing and do not deserve to be heard.

OK, he used the "S" word. That is very shocking. Perhaps we should be shocked but more so about the pile of "S" that this bill is. This monstrosity of a bill that no one has read that will kill our businesses and further our path to depression. Isn't this what we should be talking rather han whether the "S" wordwas used?

Strange days indeed. Independent Dems like me agree with sh!tb^gs like Boooner. The Bilderberger Group and Rockefellers and Goldman Sachs are behind all of this and it stinks to high heaven. Its using an issue that people are fearful about and conjuring up a Trojan Horse to implement more infringements of our liberty. Once this is in place and the bankers are making more trillions out of imaginary pollution credits (kind of like imaginary American dollars and imaginary fiat debt origination) we will be hit with the "dire need" for total Smart Grid Energy Monopoly power manipulation. People like Gridpoint are already setting up shop with hundreds of millions of investment dollars in Virginia (NSA CIA) with the already approved by the powerful but yet to be voted on by the people "SmartGrid" that will then dictate to us how much energy we get, how we can use it, when we can use it, and where we can travel.

I am truly afraid for America now.

Mars, too, appears to be enjoying more mild and balmy temperatures.

In 2005 data from NASA's Mars Global Surveyor and Odyssey missions revealed that the carbon dioxide "ice caps" near Mars's south pole had been diminishing for three summers in a row.

Habibullo Abdussamatov, head of space research at St. Petersburg's Pulkovo Astronomical Observatory in Russia, says the Mars data is evidence that the current global warming on Earth is being caused by changes in the sun.

"The long-term increase in solar irradiance is heating both Earth and Mars," he said.

Solar Cycles

Abdussamatov believes that changes in the sun's heat output can account for almost all the climate changes we see on both planets.

Mars and Earth, for instance, have experienced periodic ice ages throughout their histories.

"Man-made greenhouse warming has made a small contribution to the warming seen on Earth in recent years, but it cannot compete with the increase in solar irradiance," Abdussamatov said.

YAY!!!! this guy is speaking out on this awful bill that is ultimately equal to the patriot act in how much it micromanages a "citizens" life... New regulations on almost every aspect of living. People are being fooled into believing that the corporations hate this bill. They support it, support is support no matter how you try to spin it to seem like the good guys are winning. MInd you, the Federal GOvernment is turning up the heat on our rights, and environmental woes are fertile grounds now that the war on terror has been lost.

Boehner's right about the bill, but probably not for the reasons he has in mind. Dennis Kucinich voted against the bill, saying that it probably will make things worse and at great cost. The game is rigged, folks, the rest is just wrapping and putting lipstick on a pig. This bill is not a cause for celebration in progressive circles. This is more like the "Make Al Gore a Billionaire" bill. Whoop-de-do.
