I Like ItI Don’t Like It

On Friday, House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) delayed a vote on the American Clean Energy and Security Act with a nearly hour-long speech. He knew the Republicans didn't have enough votes to defeat the bill. In an interview with The Hill he explained himself: "Hey, people deserve to know what's in this pile of shit."

Here's a taste of Boehner's Friday afternoon speech:

In the past, Boehner has suggested that carbon dioxide is not dangerous because cows fart a lot.

What do you expect from him, he's just mad the republicans didn't come up with any real plans.

You are wrong!

The Republicans do have ideas, but they are almost as bad as the presidents. Besides that, since the Dems control both houses, the Repubs can't even get their bills introduced.

Regardless of the outcome, here is my plan in the coming years and the obama.

Any increase in the cost of my energy, clothing, food, bills will be offset with an itemized deduction (plus 20%) of donated goods on my IRS taxes. That way I can recoup the cost of what the obama administration has taken away from my pocket book. I will then invest this money into Generation Management Investments and let the government help in making me a millionaire.

Ah, Obama has elected to reduce and or terminate the deductions of itemized goods, Al Gore's Generation Management Investments is in London so we will not be able to trade his carbon purchases until they reach our President's buddies on the Chicago Climate Exchange. You may want to consider purchasing in bulk all of those dreaded "carbon off-set credits" now...

Glad to know you've managed not to be on the hook for bush's $7 trillion increase in the national debt (with NOTHING) to show for it. If you want the government to help make you a millionaire, wait for the next republican administration to invent a war & go "work" for halliburton.

Bush did not increase the National debt $7T.

http://www.treasurydirect.gov/govt/reports/pd/histdebt/histdebt_histo5.htm

Looks more like $4.5T to me, which although deplorable, is no $7T.

Now .... Obama looks to have tacked in $2T more for his first year. So how is that Obama thing working for you?

Al Gore will gain a windfall through his company, Generation Management Investments, our President sat on the board of the Joyce Foundation who funded The Chicago Climate Exchange, they too, will stand to profit an enormous amount. American Taxpayers will be burdened with the highest tax levy in American History. There is an equal amount of science that states the opposite of the waxman cap and trade legislation and the EPA has used stale data to promote this agenda. You need to wake up and call your congressional leaders regardless of your party affiliation. You need to do even a small amount of research to conclude the ramifications of this bill, unless of course, you are part of the 40% who pay no taxes and relish in your entitlements.

Unfortunately, you're wasting your time on the "deaf & dumb." They have NOTHING to contribute to this post. Apparently, they could care less -"those who have nothing - have nothing to lose." Very sad.

More worn out, thread-bare attacks on the working poor. Same old false claim that the poor don't pay taxes. You know who's entitled? The people who park their money in the Cayman islands tax free. The private equity boys. The Wall Street bloodsuckers. You're right, though, when you say there are people who feel they have nothing to lose. Throughout history those have been the most dangerous people--as far as weak, soft, wealthy, non-producers are concerned. Think Nicholas and Alexandra, Marie Antoinette and Louis...

Article at the The Harvard Crimson wins the award for stating the obvious: "Sunspots May Cause Climate Fluctuations, Harvard astrophysicist says recent cooler temps are a result of fewer sunspots." Apparently this researcher didn't get the memo to just go along with the CO2 theory to keep the money rolling in.

http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2009/04/breaking_news_sunspots_may_cau.html

Although many climatologists have cited increases in carbon dioxide as the primary cause of the temperature increases associated with global warming, Soon maintained that solar radiation from sunspots also has a great effect.

“The sun is a great driving force to climate change,” Soon said in an interview with The Crimson yesterday, adding that most observed climate data could be explained by fluctuations in solar radiation.

Sunspots—pockets of magnetism on the sun’s surface—generate high levels of energy, which then heat the Earth’s atmosphere.

Soon told TG Daily that the lack of additional energy resulting from a decrease in sunspots is directly responsible for colder temperatures experienced in recent years.

He said that, as of last week, there had been sunspots on only 11 days this year, and there were only 99 days with visible sunspots last year—the second-lowest total since 1911.

Sooooo Carbon Dioxide isn't a pollutant? WOW.

Hey can I get a do over for this "Crap and Tax" climate bill???

Such an enlightened contribution. The party of "no" and nothing is fast at work digging well below the bottom of the barrel.

the party of family values????? i would hope anyone elected to run this civil society, regardless of party affiliation, has a respect for family values......

Big deal he said a four letter word..... the house democrats have proposed such an outrageously self destructive bill that i would deem cursing in this instance appropriate.
