Cheney Worried That Iraq Withdrawal Will 'Waste' The Sacrifice By U.S. Troops

Tomorrow is the deadline for U.S. troops to withdraw from Iraq, a date Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki is calling a "great victory." But in a new interview with Washington Times radio, Vice President Cheney was still pushing the U.S. to stay in Iraq, saying that withdrawal would "waste" the sacrifice of U.S. troops:

No one is saying they lost their lives for nothing. They fought for what they believed in. Unfortunately, they were mislead as to why they were there and who they were really fighting. That's the shame of this. The shame is yet another war we could not finish--by virtue of being their for the wrong reasons. That's the shame.
The troops and civilians who lost their lives should be honored just as they would in a so-called 'just' war. If they are not, that's a shame and a disgrace.
The real shame is that Cheney feels it's his place to even use the word 'wasted' when Bush/Cheney are the ones responsible for this 'waste.' That is a real shame.

Cheney has obviously begun to believe his own FABRICATION OF HISTORY.

Obviously he forgot that the withdrawal date for US soldiers to retreat from Iraqi cities, was something that was demanded by the Iraqi government, and something that GEORGE W. BUSH SIGNED OFF ON, WHEN CHENEY WAS STILL VPOTUS.

But what Cheney is most upset about is that the withdrawal of US troops from Iraqi cities, means the WITHDRAWAL OF HALIBURTON/KBR AND THE END OF THAT PHASE OF CHENEY'S WAR PROFITEERING.

Cheney could care less about the troops................ We all saw how they were neglected and cast aside by Bush and Cheney when they returned home after all the "sacrifices" they made to fight in the WMD LIE INVASION, to protect the IRAQI OIL for the Bush family's benefit, and to enable Cheney's companies to make BILLIONS from his war profiteering
