Joe Jackson: Michael Will NOT Be Buried At Neverland

LOS ANGELES — Michael Jackson's father, Joe, says planning for the pop star's funeral is awaiting results of a second autopsy.

Joe Jackson told reporters outside the family's Los Angeles compound at midday Monday that the second autopsy is under way, but he expects results soon. The county coroner conducted an autopsy on Friday but has deferred a decision on the cause of death.

Joe Jackson denies reports that his son will be buried at his Neverland ranch. He says, "That's not true."

He also says that Michael Jackson's children are happy and are in the company of other children about their own age.

The Rev. Al Sharpton, who spent the morning with the Jacksons, says consideration of how to celebrate the legacy of the pop star must be done carefully.

Joe is awefully insensitive about his son's death...He was talking today about some record company deal he has....How rediculous this is .....I hope Michael has a valid will that will asure his children a happy and safe environment to grow up in....Not his fathers house...Also I hope no one in his family gets any money....Hopefully his kids get whatever is left after creditors are paid.... If Joe Jackson isnt a fun enough character, call in Rev Sharpton? According to several reports, Michael Jackson converted to Islam in November of 2008. Why is Sharpton called in to run his funeral? If you thought Joe screwed up his life, it looks like daddy dearest is gonna screw up his death too. According to Islam, the deceased are to be buried within 3 days. This is the 4th day. Thanks Joe. rumors about michael's conversion to islam are just that...rumors. had he converted he would have to make it public at a mosque. perhaps it's because his brother jermaine is a muslim and the Nation of Islam provided michael's bodyguards in his last months that has caused these rumors in addition to his stay in bahrain, which was facilitated by jermaine a friend of the arab crown prince.

I have seen no remorse, no sadness from this man. I still reel from his referring to the loss as "the greatest superstar in the world!" Hell, IT WAS HIS SON!! Are Joe and Katherine divorced? If not, then MJ's kids really shouldn't stay with her. He's done enough damage to his son, it would be cruel to subject the grandkids to his malicious demeanor. I would hope that one of the siblings, preferably Janet or Rebbie, would gain permanent custody, but I don't think they'd go against their mother's wishes.

I know he has been on the phone wheeling and dealing with Mayor Clay of Gary, IN (who's just as much a slime ball), there has been rumors in the local press about the mayor's pleas to Joe about Michael being brought back to Gary for burial, as some tourist attraction, along with building a museum.

Would someone please explain what "waiting for the results of the second autopsy" has to do with actually burying Michael Jackson? This is just unconscionable! Dead is dead and the results of another autopsy won't change that fact. What is Joe Jackson doing? Is the funeral going to be on pay-for-view? Michael deserves so much better than this!
