I Like ItI Don’t Like It

WireImage photographer Kevin Mazur, had exclusive access to Michael Jackson's last rehearsal for the This Is It Tour that had been planned for London.

The images, seen here, were taken on June 23rd, two days before his death. The images below are different and from May. The gentleman in the white blazer is Kenny Ortega, a choreographer/producer.

Michael Jackson “You are not alone.” Not anymore. I believe you are now, the angel in heaven you sought so hard to be here on earth. You were so misunderstood, vilified, and beat upon. There was so much mockery and hatred of you, for only one reason. You’re goodness; your luminosity into the beautiful heart you believed could be in every man. You had such generosity, and tried so hard to teach others, to look into the soul; and to not judge based on color, creed or class.
But darkness, doesn’t like beauty to shine. It detracts so much from what it is trying to do. Create dark humanless souls of us all. To replace the radiance that was born within all of us, by God. You spoke of nothing, but love and peace. Your light through your words, and music shone so bright. You’ve brought so much too so many, but only sought pure love for yourself. Your sensitivity brought ridicule. When all you wished most of all was to be embraced and understood.
I think what personally stood out to me most of all; was your tender nature. Envy in other people mistook that for weakness, when in reality it is strength. The force of who you were was so strong. Many people wish to have that, but could never achieve it.
We are all afforded different opportunities in life. Instead of being envious, they should have rejoiced with you, in your success and life.

GAH...enought already! He wasn't a civil rights leader, he wasn't a hero, he was a singer and dancer who had some hit albums, then destroyed his career. God help the children whose lives he destroyed by his revolting behavior towards them.

Man, does this get easier? It's been four days and the wrong story can get the tears started. Who knew this would be this devastating?

dancers like being skinny.. it's all about the form & aesthetics.
it's about having that long lean look.. but usually they go overboard.

That is not a "frail, or emaciated" person. His appearance in these photo is no different than his appearance at the tour annoucement in April. I'm no admirer of Joe Jackson, His demeanor during at the BET Awards reveals a emotional detached individual. It was reported this evening MJ died intestate. No one in the MJ camp, especially the lawyers, never got Mj to draw a will. The enablers have used and abuse this talented 'man. This is turning out to be a real drama-tragedy.

Somebody needs to get one of the dancers to talk about what went on at those rehearsals.

Looks like he was happy though, not broken as some have asserted.

I watched many performances of MJ and watched the progression of his internal turmoil which manifested in his body and appearance, and it heartbreaking.

This manifest fame eats people alive it seems.

What a talent.

Thank you Huff Post for sharing these pictures . . . he looks so good and yes, happy. I hope the investigation continues every stone unturned. When I opened viewed the photos, I was preparing myself for the worst ; but not true a happy man. Our love to MJ, in peace.

This is so sad. He looks good. When I thought he was on his death bed..(as per the stories some have written) it was easier to take his early death. Now, it is just that much more difficult. He looks so beautiful in his up close pictures.

i recently lost my mother in march who was barely 40. she too was just as happy and lively the day she died, dancing to mj that day and all (weird). she was fine but she had a seizure and didnt recover. God works in mysterious ways. we just have to brace ourselves because we're only here for a moment.

intelligent and thoughtful comments. I want to share with you

Awww man! Those robot moves are awesome. Reminds me of why I was so impressed with him in the '80s. I was 10 yrs old, and we had recorded his Billy Jean performance at the Motown 25th Anniversary special (on our very first VCR). We spent hours playing that moonwalk back in slow-mo trying to figure it out. Never could quite do it the way he did. Even with socks on a smooth floor.
