Chris Brown was a no-show at Sunday night's BET Awards because producers pulled his performance at the last minute.

I'm glad there was pressure to keep him off the show. He should not try to make his comeback at a memorial tribute to the King Of Pop. Chris Brown should be in jail somewhere.

I don't think that was seachild's point. I think what they were trying to say is that folks like Brown and Cornelius are praised for doing the exact same thing. Why is that okay? While I think it was just fine without Chris Brown, it does seem like they were playing favorites by allowing Cornelius to be there and present the Lifetime Achievement Award, yet Chris Brown couldn't perform.

Can I ask you a question? What has CB done to you to make you HATE him so much? You are always talking about people HATING woman, but you come off as a man hater in ALL of your post, especially when it comes to CB. Do you know him personally? And when ever anyone doesn't not agree with your opinion of him, you get really upset. OK we get it you don't like CB, but some of us do and we have a right to our opinions just like you do.

Don cornelius plead to spousal battery just a year ago but was allowed to present Lifetime Achievement Award to the Ojay's. I hope this is story about Brown is not true because that would be hypocritical.
I thought the exact same thing when he walked up there! Even if that incident had not occurred he should not have been up there. The man could barely talk yet he would not stop talking!
I applaud BET for now allowing Chris Brown to perform and being only 18 or 19 is no excuse to beat a woman. He watched his own mom get beat over and over so he should know better.
In the year 1970 At the tender age of 13 I watched my stepfather beat my mother almost to death. I saved her life by beating him over the head while he was knealing down over my mom beating her. Once his attention was turned towards me, I ran and called the police. My mom survived that night but I will never for get it.

I am listening to the radio station right now and my DJ T-roy @93.3 the beat was at the awards and he is Blasting Jay-Z for what he did to CB. He said everyone was upset because Jay-Z threatened to pull out if Chris was anywhere in the building. BET made the wrong decision everyone is upset...... Everyone is entitled to a mistake... but is Jay Z diggin on Rihanna or what?

Of course, he must be! Because you are so accustomed to the interests of men like Chris Brown being protected over those of the women they victimize, that it is incomprehensible that another man would take a moral stand for a black woman. If he does, he must be "digging on" her?
That was the worst BET Awards ever............ CB would have done MJ right and I heard that he was requested by the Jacksons. BET is getting a big backlash for this one, people are emailing them and blogging and signing petitions. How could they do a tribute to MJ without a dancer, the best dancer.
Oh please I doubt the Jackson's requested Chris Brown....I think Usher would have done a great job, too bad he wasn't there.

I can't stand Chris Brown anymore...I'm glad they scrapped him from the show.
This wasn't about CB, this was about MJ, and as far as I'm concerned, CB was the only entertainer who frequently paid tribute to Mike when he was alive. He's the only one that I know of who consistently performed MIke acts in his concerts, so....
BET was stupid to not let him perform.
I know it wasn't about him but him being there with his negative publicity and image would have taken away from the MJ tribute somewhat...he shouldn't have been invoted in the first place along with some other people there too.
But the show was lame anyway.
