This is such nonsense.
Zero information, just anecdotal evidence delivered in a sarcastic fashion.
I'm a leftie and I am against this climate bill.
The problem is in the detail: carbon credits.
Read Matt Taibi's article in Rolling Stone if you want to educate yourselves with real facts and not this redundant, self-congratulatory garbage.
UGH!!!!

The biggest senseless tax coming down the road and Huff Post is keeping the articles off the front page and information down to a minimum. Michael Jackson and Iran getting way more coverage.

The climate bill is a Investment Bankers paradise of Carbon credit derivatives, complete with credit Default swaps and leverage. Read it, 80% is banker talk.

Rooftop solar is CHEAPER.

I repeat: CHEAPER.

large commercial roofs can get 2$ /Wp installed, for about 3 cents per KWH.

Individuals can install their own for about 2.5$/Wp for about 4 cents per KWH.

But the climate bankers bill does NOTHING for individual rooftop solar.

1.85 per peak watt! retail!
