Karen Mulder ARRESTED For Plastic Surgeon Attack

Karen Mulder was arrested in Paris on Tuesday for repeated verbal telephone assaults on her plastic surgeon.

According to the Daily Mail, Mulder, 39 (or 41 depending on the source), is believed to have freaked out when her surgeon refused to reverse an unnamed procedure the former Victoria's Secret model had had done.

A detective said: 'She was screaming and shouting about the operation and became extremely threatening.

'There were repeated calls to the female surgeon who was extremely scared. The suspect is being interviewed.'

Mulder was arrested at around 10am and is being kept in a cell in the eight arrondissement, the epi-centre of Paris haute couture.

Mulder, who was a top model in the early 90s, later suffered depression and anorexia and was hospitalized in 2002 following an overdose. Since her recovery, she gave birth to a daughter in 2006 and returned to the catwalk in 2007 for a Dior show. She has also modeled for Yves Saint-Laurent, Chanel, Valentino, and Versace in the past.

I think she looks great in both photos. Thing is...she looks totally different now than before. Doesn't look like the same person...still...looks great.

Whatever she had done you cannot erase time.
Some therapy and age embracing would remake

Everyone who's bashing how she looks now? It just proves even more how hard on women's looks you are. If you saw her fifteen years after the 1994 photo without plastic surgery you would most likely say she looks too old. You know how that face of hers would age. Do you really think she would be looking anywhere near as good as she did in 1994, now? And would you honestly say if you met her on the street with this 2009 face of hers you would think she was a freak, as some have said? Oh right!

Beyond the fact that these photos are 15 years apart, I'm not seeing what other posters are talking about, including some freak surgery mistake.

Her hair is a different color, darker and straight, she is 15 years older and looks fine to me, her lips are not colored red and the lighting is different. The only thing that looks different is that her eyebrows are slightly more rounded, instead of the severe look from 1994.

The flesh above her eyelids was minimized. She had a chin job, a nose job, jawline, eyebrows. The only thing that's natural is her receding hairline.

Other than that, she looked incredibly hot in 1994 and quite lovely in 2009. She could be on Desperate Housewives and easily top all the other actresses.

Those are reconstructive surgeons. A little different "class" of doctor. Yeah, reconstructive surgeons do plastic surgery, but seriously they're less likely to have ads for rejuvederm hanging in their office waiting room.
Now plastic surgeons who are just "plastic" surgeons are providing a service people want, but so are porn stars - doesn't make me respect the business. If you watch ANY plastic surgeon on reality tv, and the ones I have actually met (I went w/ some people to plastic surgeons, I've noticed most of them are salespeople more than they are "doctors". Any time I've seen them consult with people, especially women (who are more likely to be persuaded), I have only seen them make the person feel less and less attractive , and these include many people who are itching to hear that they're "pretty" or "handsome" and actually are by everyone else's standards. I'm not saying it's the doctor's job to tell an attractive person that they're attractive, but when your business attracts those who are insecure about their appearance and you make money off of that insecurity, I start to question your motives. Maybe there's nothing wrong w/ plastic surgery, but just the doctors that field attracts.
