I'm sure it's as beautiful as it used to be. Probably more built up. But I used to go there in the 70's and it was romantic and charming..

A one night date in NY on a Saturday night consistutes a vacation? Only Michelle and the girls went to London and Paris. Hawaii is the only vacation they have taken so far. Bush was on vacation a total of 3 years out of his 8 years. Get a life.

He was the President-Elect and still Senator Obama when the family went to Hawaii in December 2008; that will not count as a vacation while being president.
They do live in the ultimate home in the country !!! And exactly what do they have to prove? And who made you the Grand Vizer of the Vacations the President and His Family Takes???? In five months, they've had one vacation in Hawaii for one week. Bush took 3 years in 8 years so Obama has a lot of catching up to do
When did the President and his family take a vacation to Hawaii? I hope you're not counting their trip in December to finally say goodbye to his grandmother, because he wasn't president at the time, although he was working as if he was.
Did they go to HI after he was sworn into office? Maybe it's just my memory, but I only remember the trip they took after the election.

He has not been in Hawaii since his inauguration. He's been to Camp David a few times, but most weekends he works Saturday and half of Sunday.
Indeed, I wish they would take more weekends off. He's got a long run ahead of him, and there's no sense burning out before the first quarter-mile mark.
The President is never on vacation people. The places might change, the scenery and views but he is never on vacation. He's always on call.

Presidents & their families normally take a whole month off a year, have weekends at Camp David, are waited on hand and foot 24/7 365. They take vacations. but they don`t NEED them. lol The ones who NEED them are they ones footing their royal type lifestyle.
