Oh my god why cant he just go to chicago for vacation and stay in his own house..its free and does not have to spend tax payer money on Marthas vineyard ....hint hint ..which is exclusively for rich white folks. Why why spend all the money when the econonomy is bad, people losing jobs, going hungary and Obama has the guts to suck it to the american people by going to marthas vineyard for a vacation..

kepary, you go to Vegas and get all of your family, friends, coworkers, etc to go, then the tourism there will increase. Think about your post; do you really believe what you have said. The President asked those companies receiving bailouts to not go to resorts and places on a grand scale. Think about it: someone comes to you needing money to survive, you let the person borrow the money, then he or she just has a goooooooooood old time.

Can someone explain to me, one who worries about the president and his family safety, why the WH would announce for the psychos to know where the Obamas will vacation?

I don't think it will matter that much. My understanding is you can only reach the place by ferry or boat. The SS know how to handle that.
I've always thought of MV as a very busy public place, this info makes me feel better. TY:)
I will on Martha's Vineyard during their vacation. I hope to catch a glimpse of them.
