Bad news for Hawaii...
If anyone needs a vacation it is President Barack Obama, and his family. The past eight months have been non stop and work that most presidents don't face within their entire eight years.
I hope they can enjoy their vacation without the media and cameras following them.
Maybe he can take the ferry over the Chappy and visit the Kennedy car wash.
Can't wait to see Republicans decrying a president taking a vacation.

Have no problem with Obama taking a vacation, had no problem when Bush did it either.
The problem is Bush spent his whole time in office on vacation (No Brain function). Obama on the other hand according to both Repubs and the MSM is a workaholic.

Update. I checked out Politico re the vacation. I don't think I saw much racism. Just ignorance and hate in general. A whole lot of jealousy also--including that Pres. Obama has vacationed more than Bush, which in my estimation would be a physical impossibility. Nobody could vacation as much as Bush did and get any work done at all. Pres. Obama has done a lot in these past few month, more than Bush did in 8 years, and still managed to get in some down time. I'd say that's someone who deserves a real vacation.

I haven't seen it, but that's Politico's fault. They can do something about that if they want to. It's like anything else, you can't be used if you don't allow it. Politico will eventually lose its legitimacy as a site for political commentary if they don't start making it clear they won't tolerate racism on the site.
