GOP leaders have a new complaint about President Obama: He's not reaching out to them nearly as much as he did earlier this year, when he road-tested his pledge of post-partisanship, only to get uniformly rebuffed on his first big legislative initiative.

The president did the outreach as he promised. He asked for Repub help with the stimulus package. The president had changes made to accommodate the Repub concerns. Even so, the Repubs said no to the stimulus and said it dramatically. MSM said that the president's bi-partianship failed which is incorrect because the president did indeed perform bi-partisan outreach for the effort. ( MSM did not report that the Repubs failed to be bi-partisan. It was all the president's fault.

So, the president was dissed. Why in the name of bi-partisanship would he be interested in talking to most of them at this juncture? Let MSM twist the truth of events some more. That's what makes money for them.

In his inauguration speech he said something to the affect that he's willing to extend a hand if you're willing to unclench your fist; wasn't talking about the Repubs at that time but it certainly applies. Repubs unclenched their fist and gave him the finger and now they want to be rewarded for it...unbelievable!!

Reactionary Party to President Obama:
You don't bring me flowers,
you don't sing me love songs,
you hardly talk to me anymore
when I come back to The Hill
after trashing you on FAUX Noise all day.

"Now there's no welcome look in your eyes
when I reach for you.
And now your're starting to critisize little things I do.
It makes me just feel like crying, (baby).
'Cause baby, something in you is dying."

When I was young
I never needed anyone
And making laws was just for fun.
Those days are gone.

Living alone
I thinking of all the friends I've known
But when dial the telephone
Nobody's home.

All by myself don't wanna be
All by myself anymore
All by myself don't wanna live
All by myself anymore

Whatever Obama does, the GOP complains.

So why should he put in much more of his precious time and effort? Everybody knows that Obama's been reaching out to them a lot. If they are serious about bi-partisanship they can still offer to work with him. He certainly won't reject them.
But what is the use for him to spend so much time talking to them when they continue to answer with the same robot-like litany over and over again? Moreover many of them want him to fail.

Anyway its kind of fun that the Reps feel left out now! Now it COULD be the start of an enquiry why............

We want attention, we want someone to notice us so we can publicly turn our backs to them.........what a bunch of children!

It reminds me of trying to befriend a vicious dog, talking to it in a soothing way, trying to get in its good graces, but the dog keeps growling and snapping at you. After a while, you leave the dog alone because, after all, you don't want to get bitten.

Why would President Obama continue to "reach out" to these lying whiners? All he got for his trouble before was a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. Go away and shut up Cantor.

Well maybe you GOPers are doing ANYTHING to make this country better or safer.

"Right-wing domestic terrorism committed by a few unhinged people who take the crazy talk (and nutty "open-carry" church services) seriously is a test of the patriotism of the so-called mainstream right-wing leaders. If the mainstream right doesn't stand up to try to tamp down the fear levels in its very own lunatic fringe, and if it doesn't lower the pitch of its anti-Obama rhetoric, then it is complicit in whatever comes next."

the definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. The Prez is not insane.

GOPERS you had a chance to be included in the process, and you blew it. now scram.

Get some real humanity back and you might get a chance to sit at the grown-up table again. Woo woo woo.

Agreed, except, "back"? When did the GOP ever have any humanity? Roosevelt? Lincoln? Certainly none since Nixon & Atwater.

Why would he continue to "woo" you when you keep slapping away the offered hand with your angry fist? Obama can learn from experience, unlike the Rushpublican Party.
