Al Malnik, Godfather Of Blanket Jackson, Denies He's Child's Real Father, Discusses "Extraordinary" Relationship With Michael (VIDEO)

Al Malnik, the godfather of Prince Michael II Jackson (nicknamed Blanket and Jackson's third and youngest child), was a guest on the "Today Show" to discuss his and his family's "extraordinary" relationship with Jackson and to address the rumors that he is actually the biological father of Blanket. Asked by Meredith Vieira if he wanted to set the record straight on those rumors, he firmly denied that he was Blanket's real father. Malnik also reminisced about some of his fondest memories of Jackson.

Michael Jackson,, "You are not alone." Not anymore. I believe you are now, the angel in heaven you sought so hard to be here on earth. You were so misunderstood, vilified, and beat upon. There was so much mockery and hatred of you, for only one reason. You"re goodness; your luminosity into the beautiful heart you believed could be in every man. You had such generosity, and tried so hard to teach others, to look into the soul; and to not judge based on color, creed or class.
But darkness, doesn"t like beauty to shine. It detracts so much from what it is trying to do. Create dark humanless souls of us all. To replace the radiance that was born within all of us, by God. You spoke of nothing, but love and peace. Your light through your words, and music shone so bright. You"ve brought so much too so many, but only sought pure love for yourself. Your sensitivity brought ridicule. When all you wished most of all was to be embraced and understood.
I think what personally stood out to me most of all; was your tender nature. Envy in other people mistook that for weakness, when in reality it is strength. The force of who you were was so strong. Many people wish to have that, but could never achieve it.
We are all afforded different opportunities in life. Instead of being envious, they should have rejoiced with you, in your success and life

Al Malnik is Miami-based, Mob-connected, and loans great sums of money to rich people in trouble. Jackson got involved with him in the 1990's when he started to get into serious debt.

From what one reads about who his friends were, it seems like he took up with people very indiscriminately. And perhaps in some cases -- like maybe this man -- his apparent sweetness and sincerity shone through and helped forge something positive. And in other cases, his openness proved disastrous.

He seemed sort of credible in this interview until he sort of denied the drug problem issue that Michael Jackson had....so, it is hard to know what to believe from him. He most suredly is extremely loyal.

I completely agree that he was their "real" father, in every meaningful sense of the word, as I have said many times to people. Adoption, aritificail insemination, etc., are all valid ways of becoming a parent, and you don't have to be a biological parent to be a good one.

So... why deny it? If it doesn't matter, then why keep up the farce that these kids are biologically his.

Wouldn't Michael have done wonders to support and promote adoption and surrogacy and the wonderful families they create if he was just honest about it. Instead his super-fans want us all to slip into the delusion that he just turned white-skinned and narrow nosed and straight haired naturally over time and that those outer changes also altered his DNA enough to be the father, three times in a row, of those nevertheless beautiful children.

If it don't matter one way or the other, why keep insisting it must be one way?

I do think the media needs to eat its bread without butter for a few days. The expensive butter it is trying to buy at the cost of dissecting the lives of 3 young children who are fatherless, disowned by the mother and who will soon be discriminated by others too... is this fair? Can we protect the kids? Whatever happened to America? Can we channelise all this love we now feel for MJ, to his kids whom he loved KNOWING he was not their bio-dad? Show wisdom now pls, so that these kids grow up feeling confident and strong. Love these children by stopping this mindless media probing.

You know what, there are three children who is without there father, there is a mother without her child, there are family members without there love one. I am not interested in all these stories the media wants to focus . There are 3 kids who know their daddy is gone. Wheither MJ is the real father of these kids or not, these kids grew up from day one believeing he was there father, now they are without him, but what are some media focusing on?
