Hey, pretty cool for China eh? They get to keep shipping us their cheap crap, poison pet food, lead covered toys, baby milk that kills, etc. etc. and refuse our trade in the bargain.
Good job bushie. I wish you had every one of those chickens crammed where the sun don't shine.
I thought this story was about China banning U.S. politicians from coming into the country. I didn't know they were talking about actual chickens. My bad.
We have now spent decades pandering to the Chinese government from Bush I's behind the scenes green light to the Chinese dictators for the brutal Tianaman square crackdown, through Bush II's anything goes trade policies with China that gave the U.S. little but lead toys, tainted food products, and a massive trade imbalance and debt to China.
And now China has the U.S. by the short and curlies because they hold so much U.S. debt.
The U.S. needs to grow a pair, accept reality, and tell the Chinese to keep their tainted products from slave labor factories.
Yes, that would mean Americans could not continue to buy useless crap cheap from China, that Americans would have to start living within their means, etc.
That is reality anyway, and sooner or later, Americans are going have to grow up and face reality, even if that means no more McMansions built with cheap but toxic chinese dry wall, no more easy Chinese financed credit, and no more hauling home cheap boxes of crap every day.
Better to have less but better, and better to only deal with nation's that respect human rights. But right now, the U.S. is becoming more like China. That is a future that is not good for anyone.
