Franken's Critics Agonize Over Senate Victory (VIDEO)

Yesterday, Al Franken, after a protracted Hundred Years War with Norm Coleman that played out in front of every legal body in the state of Minnesota, finally became Senator Al Franken, giving the Democrats a 60-vote caucus and a new set of challenges as to how they will manage to excuse disappointing their constituents going forward. You may ask yourself, "Huh, I wonder how all of Franken's opponents in the media are taking it?" Not very well, as it turns out!

You can watch for yourself, if you like, in this video mashup from Media Matters! Sean Hannity: he still BELIEVES, Y'ALL, that Coleman won! Glenn Beck says it's the equivalent of Glenn Beck being made Senator! Even that brown-haired dude from Fox And Friends, ol' what's his face, has a sad about it! Yes, Al Franken is the New New Reason Democracy Has Died, thus ending the reign of the Huffington Post's own Nico Pitney.

From where I perch, it's like a whole new set of Americans now are angry at the way a recount was decided, and are worried over their belief that Minnesota is represented by a crazy person. There's another group of Americans who know what that feels like, I think! So really, isn't Al Franken just bringing the whole country together, in empathy? Probably not!

I guess I dont understand the big deal. Why is fox news always concerned with progressives. They had there movment it wasn't working the american people rejected it and now fox news is drawing lines in the sand. It almost seems like they are the media arm of a right wing terrorist organization who want to destroy or belittle everyone that dosn't agree with them. I'm so sick of those rich white conservative guys telling us who the "real" americans are. I know one thing for sure it isn't them. also what kind of news organization takes talking point memos from a political party and repeats them 90% of the time? thats not news it's propaganda.

Franken is far more intelligent that the clowns on Fox who think they are real journalists. Not one of them is capable of analyzing the news, they are entertainers who stir the pot and are unabashedly biased towards the GOP.
They are thriving right now because they have a cause, and that cause is to bash the Dems for the next 4 years. They did it with Clinton and now it's Obama's turn. That's all they do and will do until the GOP rises again, if that's even possible since these guys are destroying it with every nasty broadcast.

Listen to this Brian Killmeade. He is a host of a news show on Fox, he is not a commentator AND he is openly expressing his displeasure that Franken won. You would never, repeat never, see that in a news host on CNN or NBC. This is the difference between Fox and everybody else. Fox is pure partisan, purely a propaganda arm for the Republican party.

I use to listen to Al's radio program and it was then I realized how smart he was and that he had a lot of interests. Al also had a lot of interesting people on his show and it was a great learning experience for me. Also it was apparent by the way he spoke about Minnesota that he loves the state and he will be a better Senator than people think.

Not only was he interesting to listen to he also allowed desenting guests to express their opinions. I have worked with Al in the past in Television and he was always a gentleman and a person that had respect from all that worked with him.
