Internal campaign e-mails exchanged three weeks before Election Day offer a rare look at just how frustrated then Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin had become with the manner in which top McCain campaign aides were handling her candidacy. The e-mails, obtained exclusively, also highlight the power struggle and thinly veiled acrimony that pervaded the relationship between Palin and the campaign's chief strategist, Steve Schmidt.

HP staff! Who cares about Palin anymore? Why cover her? There are a lot more important topics to cover -- the swine flu, ACLU's efforts to return our country to the rule of law, foreclosures, labor issues, the war. I used to find a lot on the HP but now I just find junk food.

My exact thought! Palin rarely reads and thinks everyone is just like her. Todd, a high school graduate, now a Governor's husband and advisor, couldn't read and understand a simple registration form? And how about Palin and Todd's attendance of that party? Her lie is mindboggling!
and the fact is that there is a video on you tube of her at that meeting. the fact that Palin thinks she can lie her way out of it is indicative of a serious mental health issue where reality plays no role.

Seems to me this effort is more than casual information designed to clear a few names. Instead, I think this is a concerted effort by some in the republican party to make sure Palin never leaves Alaska. They are doing a good job within the party of taking her down. They must be trying to convince the few wingnuts within their party that love her what an idiot she really is because the rest of us in the country already know.
You think the GOP doesn't eat their young, what you didn't know was that they used to toe the line otherwise they'll be out of the party, but since the party is in shambles and with no leader, their true colors are finally coming out, it's a dog-eat-dog in the land of the republicans.

Of what we know of this lady, it is amazing there are still folks out there who consider SP qualified to be President of the United States. It is mind-bugling.
