CHICAGO (AdAge.com) -- In what's believed to be a first-of-its-kind arrangement in the struggling newspaper industry, Belo's Dallas Morning News has tapped rival publisher Tribune Co. to handle its national ad sales.

Is that why the Dallas Morning News now carries grocery store ads on the front page??? It's now officially the "Disappearing Morning News".
Is their corporate flag on their building grounds lowered to half-staff yet? Anyone playing "Taps?"
Any day now, I expect. They doubled the subscription rate, and when I called to tell them I was not renewing, they told me that if I renewed for a year, they'd give me a $100 pre-paid Visa card - that comes to a saving of about $120 over what I had been spending on a quarterly basis. They are truly desperate.
