"That was ridiculous," Levi says of the RNC. "I was just like, 'Uhhh.'  " At the time, the Palins insinuated he'd have to move to D.C. if McCain won. "I ain't never moving," he says with a shudder, thinking back. Luckily for him, his team lost. He and Bristol broke up early this year, shortly after they welcomed baby Tripp Easton into the world. But the life of this self-described "fucking redneck" did not go back to normal.

From what I've read, he has tried hard to get custody, or even just to see his son. The US justice system tends to overwhelmingly favor the mother over the father as far as parental rights are concerned. He is only one of many American dads who are struggling with this issue.

Levi. You're an adult, and in front of other people, you have to placate your "handler" by telling him that you aren't getting what are apparently 'forbidden' calls. You can't act -- you KNOW that, and your handlers are setting you up to be embarrassed in a cut-rate movie. Have they arranged acting lessons from a qualified coach? Bet they haven't. The quality of your life means nothing to them -- it's the quantity of money they can dig out of you that has ol' Tank lusting for the limelight, while you squirm.

Don't take meetings. Use the contacts you've made in the last six months and find a steady job that you enjoy, out of the public eye. Something that will give you what you want -- a life in Alaska, and away from cities. Stay with those handlers, Levi, and you are going to be living in cities for the next ten years -- and when your looks fade (they will, no big deal) and you aren't a backdoor to a famous trainwreck of a political family -- you'll be left with no money, no real connection to the state and pastimes you love, and no other work than whor.ing yourself out.

Go get a real job, man. Outdoors. You've got contacts no other kid your age has, and those handlers are keeping you focussed on the wrong ones. The ones that benefit them.
