The Plum Line:

John McCain and Sarah Palin both personally approved an intensive internal search of the emails of top campaign staffers in order to determine who had been leaking damaging information about Palin to reporters, McCain campaign manager Steve Schmidt just told me in an interview.

"John McCain and Sarah Palin were both informed that we were doing this in an attempt to catch the person," Schmidt told me, referring to his decision to undertake the email search, which has been the topic of fierce controversy since it was revealed yesterday.

This should come as no surprise. McCain was erratic and power hungry and Palin was even more so. Paranoia and power play was their modus operandi.

This is an excerpt from an item in the Anchorage Daily News. It gives a pretty good idea of Palin's ideas of what is proprietary and how to handle information:

http://andrewsullivan.theatlantic.com/the_daily_dish/2009/07/palin-and-secrecy.html#more

We wouldn't have had a President and VP. We'd have had an old king and his wicked queen.

Wonder how far away McCain held his phone when Palin called?

"If you lend money to my poor people, don't be a usurer to him, neither lay usury on him." Exodus 22:25
The "Federal" Reserve racket is based entirely on usury, is illegal and should be outlawed now.

"Iesous went into the temple (Washington, DC to us) and cast out the buyers and sellers, overthrew the moneychangers' tables,...saying, 'My house of prayer you have turned into a den of thieves.'" Matthew 21:12,13

There need be no wringing of the hands about the indebtedness of California or the whole of America. The cause lies at the feet of the private international moneychangers, imported from Rothschild's Europe in 1913 by Paul Warburg, and falsely called the "Federal" Reserve.

I learned about this in the book The Federal Reserve Conspiracy by Eustace Mullins, completed in 1950, and copyrighted in 1971 by Mr. Mullins in an Omni Publications' ed, Hawthorne, Calif. 90250.

We need only do what Iesous did over 2000 years ago, muster our courage and drive the bastards out of our government and nation. Until then there will be no peace, prosperity, or freedom to pursue the dream everybody has of a good life on one's own land. Let's do what needs to be done now.

Washington DC is not a temple of God.

Matthew 22:19-21

"Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.

And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?

They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; unto God the things that are God's."

Maybe, it will be a trilogy, one from Palin, Schmitz, and McCain. The three different versions of the campaign will be a hoot to read. I might buy Schmitz's, but I'd wait until Palin's and McCain's hit the dollar store and then try and get it for half price.

The truth always comes out. Human nature. People cannot live under stress without dealing with their frustrations. I can imagine that the McCain-Palin campaign was a pressure cooker. Where Palin goes, drama and emotional upheaval follows. She creates it. I applaud Steve Schmidt for his diplomacy and professionalism, but I do not blame any lower-level staffers, or any staffers, for blowing off steam. Call the leaks unprofessional, but do not call them lies. Every last one is truth that could not be withheld. Those staffers weren't gossips, they were frustrated and humiliated at having to deal with such an unprofessional woman as Palin. I suspect having to listen to her lies and her aspirations after she'd destroyed those of their hero was too much to bear.

Only problem is they don't have the guts to admit they were the source and what was leaked were not lies. Instead, they're shaking in their boots afraid of the "base" and pretending to be faithful Palin supporters.

Well, would you want to be Joan of Arc? These folks have families and mortgages. They need a future job, why put that in peril. I can understand that. They didn't tell me anything I didn't already learn from watching Palin. I dont' need their names.

Approved a hunt for the person who "leaked" information?
Why does this sound illegal? Aren't there laws protecting whistle-blowers?
Frankly, this sounds like a vendetta in the making.

Palin pays hunters in airplanes and helicopters to hunt down wolves in Alaska.
The hunters get $150 for every left foreleg of a wolf.

How much is Palin paying for left forelegs of top campaign staffers who leaked emails?

Vendetta, maybe, but its not illegal. You have no rights on your work computer system and people working for her campaign would be using her resources.

While appointed to that oil commission, Sarah went on other person's computer to prove he was using the computer system for his own political gain. Yet, she did the same as Mayor of Wasilla. That's why she used personal email accounts in the Office of the Governor. Now she uses twitter.

"Her" resources? Not sure about the propriety, but I see your point.
In any case, calling someone out for unprofessional behavior is one thing. This is not professional, but, rather, a personal issue. All that's been "leaked" are facts, and the facts don't paint a pretty picture.
I'm wondering what they plan to do with the individual(s) if/ when found? That's ultimately what disturbs me. Actions like what these two are taking are, in and of themselves, Veiled threats. Now, who's being unprofessional?

Palin is doing an email search?

That would be $15 million thank you.

Sarah, do we charge SarahPac , the Alaska Fund Trust or would you like to write a personal check?

According to Sarah, the public should pay $15 million to search her emails!

Palin is considered by conservatives to be physically attractive, she's physically fit, and she has a one-sided approach to looking at life. That's all they need.
