Justin Timberlake, Jude Law, Ewan McGregor, Johnny Lee Miller, Sam Mendes, Kate Winslet and even "Gossip Girl" guy Chace Crawford have been snapped so far.

What is hard to believe is that celebrities esp in Hollywood haven't stepped up to the plate to cover the expenses that the MJ Memorial will cost the city of LA. Where are all the well paid Movie stars, music, politicians ect... in California. What about your fans ? It will bring nothing but goodwill to step-up and donate to cover the cost involved. Contact the news outlets. They will publish your name and probably your up and coming projects. 1.4 million fans willing to spend hard earned money to attend the service. How symbolic to the Jackson family and fans, when our economy is in the tank. This is your industry, you all love MJ as much as the every day people, you are in a position to make a difference.

you're right...all us americans have suvs...how many flat screen tvs do you have? how often do you upgrade your gadgets - ipod, cell phone, computer...all of which contribute to landfills...do you leave your computer on all day? list goes on...looks at your lifestyle before you start criticizing others. Let's imagine no one goes to wimbledon b/c it's a silly, unnecessary 'top notch event'. hmmmm...that puts a lot of people out of work...the whole wimbledon machine. I thought I saw someone who looked like the Former Mayor of NYC David Dinkins sitting behind Sir Cliff Richard and Cilla Black at the Royal Box yesterday, 7/2/09. The camera panned on Sir David Frost and Mayor David Dinkins again (unless it is a twin) today, 7/3/09.

Sir Cliff Richard, the gentleman in the front, is also a very big Tennis fan. Was knighted by the Queen for his charitable work. Is considered one of UK;s National Treasures in the Entertainment industry, Pioneered Rock n Roll in the UK in 1958, which paved the way for The Beatles and the groups of the British Invasion. Although less known in the USA, he had hits like Devil Woman, We Don't Talk Anymore, Dreamin', A Little in Love, Suddenly, Has a huge, huge following in the UK, Europe, South Africa, Asia, Australia./NZ, who eagerly awaits for his sold out concerts almost every year.
Am also excited about Sunday's match, Am rooting for either one I like them both.. :D

The 4th of July is only a US holiday. In the UK (thus at Wimbledon), it's not a holiday weekend and most people there don't even think about America's Independence Day.

Law, Winslet, and MacGregor are British. Though, Timberlake might be hankering after a hot dog and fireworks.
