It is very sad to say that a supposed 24 hour news network seems to employ the idea that it's main thrust is not in news but in airing odd shows about health, pedophilia, prison or other somewhat tawdry slice of life.

Why oh why doesn't NEWS become the mainstay of this network? Sad...

For a news channel MSNBC is already too light on the news, they take holidays off and don't do news during the weekend, please stop with the programs and get back to news.

Saw her softball a chiropractor on performing on infants and claiming adjustments can cure allergies and ear infections. The MD she had on only said, "there are a lot of things science doesn't understand"--Why she would let anyone get away with making crazy claims, for one. Economics, however, could explain it with ease.

She's an annoying rethug with a bad face/brow lift. I'll get my healthcare news elsewhere.

I watched the first day and Dr Nancy definitely seemed a bit nervous and tight. I'll have to watch next week to see if she gets more relaxed. Aside from that I'm happy there's a show dedicated to health care, but only time will tell if it's truly worth while programming.

I'm a little worried it will ultimately be on the side of the main stream healthcare industry, because I don't think MSNBC will buck some of it's biggest and most lucrative advertisers: the pharmaceutical companies. This will lead to watered down stories, soft news on healthcare, and won't be a credible voice in a policy debate.

I like her. I liked her on GMA and I like her on the Today Show, however, I watched her show on MSNBC and it was beyond boring. I'll give her another week though. No one's perfect at their job in only 5 days.

Ah the much valued noon TV demographic .... the unemployed, infirm and stay at home mom's... MSNBC could show an infomercial and get the same ratings

There's a simple reason that MSNBC has her on at noon -- she's there for people who don't *want * news! At that time of the day -- when MSNBC is getting its clock cleaned by Fox and CNN -- NBC would much rather have folks who want news watch their local NBC affiliates, instead of MSNBC, and not have anything on that would "canibalize" local ad money and ratings for their affiliates. That's the reason that MSNBC is often a step behind Fox and CNN. They're owned by a company that has a regular network news division with the top-rated morning show and the top-rated nightly news. Fox and CNN don't have to worry about that. And you can forget about "Morning Joe" going anywhere anytime soon. In the first quarter of this year, the show beat CNN in the Adult 25-54-year-old demographic -- the most prized by advertisers -- for the first time in 7-and-a-half years. It's all about ratings, kids.

I haven't seenm it yet but but she's very thorough on the Today show. If something's not scientifically researched she won't agree with it. So far Autism has no link to immunizations and she let Matt know that on the Today show.

Just another waste of television space.
