Vanity Fair:

For years, administrators at Harvard University could throw money at anything that tickled their fancy. A new medical school building for $260 million? Sure. A massive, Robert A.M. Stern--designed addition to Harvard Law School? No problem. One of the most sweeping financial aid initiatives ever undertaken? Consider it done.

Is it true that Harvard no longer has remedial English classes for MBA candidates & you must be able to count to 21 without removing your shoes before you can earn a Harvard MBA. Graduating W & awarding him an MBA has diminished the value of a Harvard MBA to the value of a degree in animal husbandry from Tejas A & M. The fact that Oklahoma & Arkansas have laws outlawing animal husbandry & cross reference beastiality with animal husbandry makes a degree in animal husbandry from Tejas A & M evidence of animal abuse in the other 49 states of the USA. This isn't one of those Aggie jokes popular at the U of Tejas & Pairie View A & M; it is the law in 49 states. The eyes of Tejas may be on you in Tejas but the law will be on you pronto if you try animal husbandry in the other 49 states.

FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE DAY - STARVE THE BEAST

We're udnergoing a delveraging process. Expect the DJIA to bottom at 5000 or lower.

Americans are starting to come to their senses. The savings rate reached 6.9% last month,
the highest level in 15 years. This brought the level up to the long-term average. As usual,
the pundits on CNBC have concluded that now that we've reached the average, everything is
roses and the consumer can resume their free spending ways and save our economy. These fools
have no concept of history, averages or cycles. The savings rate has been in a downward
spiral for 30 years. Consumers have lost $14 trillion of net worth and 5,000 per day turn
65. Most people have miniscule retirement savings and 14.7 million are unemployed. The
savings rate will go up for the next two decades as people must save.

Schools like Harvard and the other Ivy Greed schools are the ones whose education produced every single leader who caused every single economic downfall in the last 120 years of our history. It would be better for America and the world if these elitist Ivy greed producing schools would close down, and their history be used as the poster child for how not to educate. They only produce destructive selfish profit seeking whores who rape people of everything possible in the name of profit. I say close them down, maybe turn them into homeless shelters for all the poor and unemployed their graduates produce.

Schools like Harvard are huge ripoffs in regards to educational value. Its just a way for the rich club membership to flourish. I could care less if they have to run on state college style budgets.

Do you know why such prestigious brand names like Harvard, Yale, Duke, and USC exist in our academic universe? It's because people are too stupid and obtuse to be buying into them in the first place?

Given the choice, a state college or university would be far cheaper and just as good.
