Madonna Plans Michael Jackson Tribute

LOS ANGELES — Madonna is paying tribute to Michael Jackson in the same arena where he was to stage his great comeback.

The superstar is preparing a special part of her concert Saturday at O2 arena. Madonna publicist Liz Rosenberg says she is going to unveil a special choreographed dance in honor of Jackson.

Michael Jackson was to perform his comeback concerts at O2 starting July 13. He died last week at 50. He had been rehearsing for those shows in his final days.

I think all the Entertainers that came after Jackson and who developed their own style based off Jackson should pay tribute to him.

I wished it would have happened when he was alive. It would have meant so much to him.

Instead he died abandoned and alone. Never truly knowing how much he was loved.

The Music Industry owes it to Michael's legacy.

I have seen Usher (who is a class act) and a few more out here honoring Michael. I know Usher is also planning to pay tribute to Him.

Don't be so hard on madonna....it is great to see her actually caring about someone than herself.

I don't believe money is the motivation here, the show was already planned.

Wrong. Madge and Jackson go way back. Same age, stars began rising (despite his childhood success, MJ really went global in the 80's) at the same time, she even tried to seduce him back then. Chick really adores him despite everything, although I pray she never left Rocco & David alone with him.

Yeah that was a gossip rumor floating around back then. They were 2 of the most powerful pop entertainers of the 80's. It ironic how there paths differed vastly over the years.
