Palin Reelection Plans Nixed: Won't Run Again As Governor

Sarah Palin will announce later today that she will not run for reelection as Alaska Governor when her term ends in 2010, multiple media outlets report.

The decision leaves her free to pursue a potential presidential bid in 2012.

After all she did during the election as she whipped up the hate at the rallies, I found myself feeling sorry for her. I thought she was about to cry. I've never seen her look that nervous. If this is someone who quit to pursue 2012 her demeanor sure didn't speak to that. Something is up.

She didnt want to run for re-election. There's alot of dirt that would have been thrown at her, and she didnt want to take the chance of losing. Even if she won, she would have lost because she would have been more badly damaged. If you thought you had seen too much of Sarah Palin up to now, just wait. She'll be everywhere and the more times she's in front of cameras, the odds of her saying something d.umb increase tenfold. Basically, she will try to re-work her image, much like Nixon did from 1965 through 1968,beginning with the warm and fuzzy book tour. The problem is that she's mentally unstable.

I never said he did. But he got beaten in the Governors race in California, and was written off by virtually everybody. She just didnt want to run and take that chance. She saw an opening and took it. She thinks it was a smart move, but it will turn out to be a bad one.

Yes, quite right. Nixon's image was carefully and perfectly restructered by Roger Ailes, and perhaps Fox news will continue to help Palin with this. Read a book called "The Selling of the President", by McGinnis. Excellent work.
