Sarah Palin will announce later today that she will not run for reelection as Alaska Governor when her term ends in 2010, multiple media outlets report.
The decision leaves her free to pursue a potential presidential bid in 2012.

We assume you do not like the*presedent*but not hate.
I'm not a fan of Palin's politics; I think that she was a rather gauche governor and wholly unfitted for higher office. That said, one has to give her proper due.
Palin became a national superstar on pure style i.e. no substance. I live overseas and they were even breaking this announcement on international networks and local news.
Anytime Palin's name graced the front page of Hu.ff n Puff it would catalyze an avalanche of commentary. During the campaign she drew more crowds than John McCain.
I don't know what this says about society, but it does show that sagacious self-promotion is a si.n that served Sarah well (8 S's in one sentence is definitely swag!)
