Courtney Love Trashes Hotel Room

IT only took Courtney Love eight hours to trash her high-end hotel room at The Inn on Irving Place.

While the rocker was visiting New York on June 17 with her 16-year-old daughter, Frances Bean, sources say Love completely ruined her accommodations.

The hard-partying 44-year-old widow of Kurt Cobain left dirty needles and used feminine hygiene products behind, according to sources, and also flooded the floor.

I'm no Courtney Love fan. Don't support drugs -- even pot.

But I think there should be laws that require sources to be sited and named. That would be a first step towards dealing with false journalism. This article quotes "sources," but we have no idea whether it is factual.

I look at the blatant lies shouting out from bottom-feeding tabloids at grocery checkout counters, and I wonder what has happened to society that we turn a blind eye and say that is acceptable.

Society has always been like this. Look at the French court in the 18th century. Or any royal court in Europe for that matter. Or all the old Hollywood gossip magazies from the "golden era". Tones of misinformation and gossip passed back and forth. You just have to take it all with a grain of salt. I doubt this story is true or if there is any truth to it it's been exagerated.

C'mon. This is Courtney Love you're talking about. She has a history of being out of control and it hasn't been tabloid fiction either. She could have been as Marlon Brando said in "On The Waterfront" "a contender" because she showed she was a good actress but she ruined it. Now she's just a pathetic mess and a tragic headline waiting to happen.

She needed to get into the fray of attention. . . and Francis should not be exposed to any of this. She's probably parentified, trying to take care of her mother so she doesn't od.
