Courtney Love Trashes Hotel Room

New York Post:

IT only took Courtney Love eight hours to trash her high-end hotel room at The Inn on Irving Place.

While the rocker was visiting New York on June 17 with her 16-year-old daughter, Frances Bean, sources say Love completely ruined her accommodations.

The hard-partying 44-year-old widow of Kurt Cobain left dirty needles and used feminine hygiene products behind, according to sources, and also flooded the floor.

There was a great article in Psychology Today a couple of years ago. I was either an interview with her adoptive mother or written by her adoptive mother. Basically, Courtney was always extremely different and unreachable and has had mental illness since childhood.

I think it's sad what has become of her (or really has been the whole time), but Hole was great back in the day. Her solo stuff was not bad I guess either. I hope she's able to pull herself together at some point.

She is really unstable and has struggled with mental illness since childhood. I feel sorry for Francis Bean, but I don't think Courtney is capable of being a mentally healthy person without more psychiatric treatment than she has gotten.
