WTF?/?/?This guy gets to pick his jail. He actually has something left of others to spend AGAIN, to save his backside? Personally, I don't think anyone involved in this should have been allowed anything but the one set of clothing on their backs. They didn't earn it, they stole it! ONLY IN AMERICA!
Ya its a new system developed specially for banksters, politicians and financial elite.
There is a bidding system for these special people.
The new system is kind of like Match.com, where by you seek out cellmates
that are potential life-mates. You know where Bubba kind can lure his
unsuspecting future wife to his cell / trap.
How can this crook afford to hire ANYBODY?
Why has this dude even one dime left?
Take the last fradulently "earned" Dollar away from him and let him work in the laundry for 1.50 Dollars a day!
With THAT money he can hire who he may!
He still has money that he can spend? That's not justice. All his money should be going to repay his victims. And he gets to pick his jail? He should already be chained up breaking rocks 12 hours a day. Why the special treatment?
WTF??? This shows just how wealth, no matter how obtained, skews the human psyche. He actually believes he has the right to choose where he serves his time?? Wake up Bernie, you're nothing but another convicted felon, and that strips you of all of your "rights". If the judge presiding over this case allows this to go through, he should be removed from the bench.
He will be paying his consultant with the proceeds from his "soap-on-a-rope" venture.
Huh? Help to "find the best possible jail"??? This isn't exactly a realestate deal. Throw the guy in the worst hole to be found and leave him there.
When in the Hell did it become a criminal's right to choose a prison? Isn't our criminal justice system great or what? Shameful and disgraceful!
Obviously, the sh*tbag still has access to money. Hey, judge! Time to recuse yourself for incompetence or dereliction and get someone engaged to follow the money!
Is this a great country or what? You can't make this stuff up.
Madoff must think he has a choice in the matter. I can't see any reason why the prosecutors would go along with this, unless they used it as leverage to get him to testify against others.
a lot of the people he ripped off would say he should be thrown in w/ the G.P.----he could help w/ a literacy project------this "use of the system" will not go over w/ many----
