Katharine Weymouth

New York Times:

Katharine Weymouth, the relatively new publisher of The Washington Post, is a lawyer who worked for the company for 12 years and was educated at the Harvard School of Business, so she is hardly a naïf in running a business.

Right. It's been a long time since the WashPost had integrity. Just look at the top Editors and you'll understand that they never did any reporting on the Bush Administration, when it was evident there were dozens of stories that could have, and should have, been investigated---like Bob Woodward trading tea and crumpets to have access to Bush & Company. NEVER ANYTHING THAT STOOD FOR JOURNALISM.

And they wonder why revenues are down. The Wash Post simply does not do its duty as the Fourth Estate.

The real question is.. What news organization does anymore? They are all bought and paid for in some way, shape or form. God Bless the Internet!

Weymouth is not the first to sell her news fronts integrity -- The list is long and distinguished of the so-called journalist/integrity gone awry in this nation.

You beat me to it. Although NYT did it on the "why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free model." during the runup to the Iraq war. At least the WaPo set a price point for their sellout.
