There for the children or contractually obligated? I'm sure both of them love their children. Though I do have my doubts that either of the parents involved in this mud sling at the OK corral have always had their children's best interest. The money and the affluent life style the show provided had to come first at times. Then again, the show was their job. Trouble if it was their job was broadcast nationally. How many kids in "normal" situations kind of get pushed aside because of job obligations? Trillions?

I think the photo on the HP page is not from 2009. Kate is too pale, girls hair is different than in the one with the people.com photo.

I see mom and the girls got all primped and pampered at the hair salon, and decked out in monogrammed matching outfits for the photo op (though one of the older girls seems to be missing). You would think a family on the verge of divorce with possible heavy financial issues would be a little more frugal at this time...the­n again, I'm sure People Magazine paid $$$$$.

This family will never be out of the spotlight due to Kate's need for shopping for designer clothes and weekly salon appointments and Jon's need for sports cars and parties as well as the couple's need for million dollar homes with fancy furniture. They would never be able to afford such a lifestyle with regular jobs.
