The first lady paired the Narciso Rodriguez dress with her favorite silver flats. Daughters Malia, who was celebrating her 11th birthday, and Sasha both wore their hair in 'mini-Michelle' buns.

Picture 12 of 13 is exactly what I love about our FLOTUS: She is so personal with people, ALWAYS.

When she came to my hometown during the campaign a young girl was crying her eyes out to meet her, and MO stood there and talked with the girl, and hugged her and her mother for quite a long time, even as her secret servicemen were trying to rush her along.

Love that lady.
