They could have jump seats like on military transport planes...
and ecologically correct disposable parachutes so the plane doesn't actually have to land
How about a compromise, and use those white plastic chairs. Strapped to the floor. Yes, comfort.
The empty ones can be stacked or parachuted out if need be.

The weight of a stool vs a standard seat, 200lbs each, yes I can see where that would slash fuel costs! But, will it offset the loss of passenger revenue from people flying other airlines?
Stack the passengers on top of one another like cord wood. That should save some money, so the CEO's and big shots can get their millions.
Next Ryanair will want people to Drive to their destinations to help cut costs.
To save even more money, Ryanair could simply STOP FLYING.....
Have them sit on the wings and flap their arms.
Why not have the passengers lie down in rows in the cargo hold? Maybe dangle from the wing or something? If safety isn't an issue, there must be tons of way to save costs.
Yes, like fill the cabin with Helium instead of oxygen! Make the plane lighter and the people inside sound funny too.
