'Three's Company' Joyce DeWitt Cited For DUI

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — An actress who starred on the hit television series "Three's Company" has been arrested in Southern California and cited for drunken driving. Police say Joyce DeWitt, who played the character Janet Wood on the popular show, was pulled over Saturday afternoon after she drove past a barricade near a park in El Segundo.

Sgt. Danny Kim says an officer arrested the 60-year-old DeWitt after he observed signs she had been drinking and gave her field sobriety tests.

Kim says DeWitt was booked at the Police Department, cited and released on her own recognizance.

A telephone listing for DeWitt was not immediately available.

I grew up loving Three's Company. Terrible mug shot picture. She should get some help and do something positive with the rest of her life. Even if a private sector job outside of Hollyweird, live your life with dignity Janet/Joyce!

Actually, if Joyce had makeup on (plus a good night's sleep) she would look good for age 60. She has big eyes and good bone structure. The booze obviously made her skin red and flushed.

I loved Joyce DeWitt in 3's Company (I always thought she was very pretty), but when I saw that photo yesterday, it truly scared me. I think they should have allowed her, just this once, a do-over...

It is strange to me that if your rich and famous and arrested for dui, after booking you can go home. If your poor you stay in jail. A man I know went to the store for his family and was arrested at a road block. He stayed over night in jail, his money was taken. He was not drunk , his family did not know what happened to him. He was released the next day. After months of worry would he lose his job because of the charge, he was found not guilty by the judge who was disgusted that the arrest happen at all. Meanwhile he had spent thousands of dollars for an attorney to represent him, to get his car from the place it was towed to, and the to bondsman .
