After winning the AT&T National yesterday at Congressional Country Club, Tiger Woods has done just about everything he wants to in the Washington area. He has played in, and won, Presidents Cups. He has hosted his own tournament, and won it. He participated in the run-up to President Obama's inauguration.

What would you have the President do? That unnecessary war (courtesy GWB) cannot be stopped abruptly. It has to be phased out. Military Generals on the ground are responsible for that process - and they probably do not want to be micromanaged on that. Unless you are saying you don't trust the troops to handle it??

And a sizeable majority of us approve of the direction he is taking us, especially in comparison to the bozo who sat in the same office the previous eight years. And even moreso in comparison to the misguided, leaderless, clueless opposition party that pretends to remain relevant.

This is an interesting pairing. Society would lead you to believe they're similar because of their skin color. In reality, they're two very different men.
One achieved greatness using talents to earn individual accomplishments that subsequently increased the wealth of many. The other achieved status being a polished celebrity with individual credentials to only benefit the few. Both men pursue self interest but with amazingly different results.

By increasing the purses that the pros play for ...1...2, the PGA raises a huge amount of money for charity around the country... more people are into Golf since Tiger came on the scene... more people go to see the show... more money raised... Thats how!

And yet folks voted for GWB twice. There are consequences to these actions. Obama has inherited a huge mess. Some perspective. Sacrificing a game of golf isn't going to solve this crisis.
I'd like to see more of this ... Woods has a message similar to Obama.
Perhaps there's a political carreer in the future for Woods ... and maybe a green jacket for Obama(smile).

Tiger strikes me as someone who knows everything there is to know about golf, but little about anything else. He needs to start expanding his little life.
That will be something I will look forward in the future. I love them both and I NEVER miss a Tiger game.
