Anti-Jackson Video A Hit, Says Rep. Peter King

Days after he posted a video calling Michael Jackson a pervert, Rep. Pete King says his office has been flooded with calls and the majority have been positive.

King told the NY Post that his office phones have been ringing off the hook with "hundreds and hundreds" of calls, with many callers thanking him for saying what had gone unsaid about Michael Jackson.

"I think I hit a raw nerve," King said.

Many other calls, however, were threatening and negative.

Meanwhile, Jackson fans are rallying to raise money to defeat King and get him out of office.

If I were a family member to the late Mr. Jackson, I would want Congressman King to continue talking and once filing a slander suit, during discovery, we would require him to provide this proof to further substantiate the bases for a slander suit.

For 2 days I debated whether or not to post a response to the Peter King, but I caved. Here goes...

During the height of the cold war, young people of the communist bloc did not look to politicians ( King , Reagan et al) and decided they wanted to be like the Americans...It was the Michael Jacksonsm Carl Lewis' and Flo Jo's of America they yearn to be like.

It was America's pop culture (led by MJ) and sports that appeal to the oppressed youth. The communist authorities knew it, American politicians knew it and that is why communist countries censored American culture because they knew and felt its effects

Mr King has shown his true cowardly colors by speaking ill of dead person who cannot defend himself..

I love the way the republicans ALWAYS state that "they have been getting calls" or "their office have been overwhelmed with calls". So many of them all say the same thing. They love to "toot" these phrases. Where is the proof??? And are we suppose to believe them???
I'm sure they have gotten maybe a couple of calls that they've ...... turned into hundreds/thousands. I just think that it may have happened ONCE upon a time and that was their excuse to use it over and over when needed.
